Position: Sr. Software Engineer
Role:
Design, develop and maintain key components of the SAB software suite using Microsoft .Net and SharePoint Server 2010 and higher versions. Participate in requirements analysis and develop solutions for all tiers of the application: user interface, middle-tier business components, database layer, etc. Be a key contributor to innovation and build proof of concept examples that can be leveraged across current and future software release versions involving Collaboration Portals, Content Management, Business Processes, E-Forms, Systems Integration and Business Intelligence etc.
Desired Candidate Profile
 7+ years" work experience with the following languages and tools:
o Microsoft .NET framework, Microsoft Office, and SharePoint technologies: InfoPath, Forms Service, Web Services.
o Experience necessary with: JQuery, CSS, Ajax, DHTML, Xml/Xslt, SharePoint Designer, Active Directory, SQL Server and IIS
o SharePoint Server 2010 and Higher versions
 Proven development and production implementation experience with Microsoft SharePoint (2010 and above versions) developing custom solutions for SharePoint using SharePoint API, Object Model, web parts web services, workflows, site collections/structure
 Software development experience including Website design and development experience using Microsoft ASP.NET, Visual Studio, SQL Server, InfoPath, Excel Services, Windows Workflow Foundation, Silverlight, etc.
 Administration and Implementation Experience in Share Point Server
 At least one relevant SharePoint development certification
 SharePoint Developer (Mid-level)
 BS degree in Computer Science preferred or equivalent experience.
 Experience with project planning/tracking, architectural design, user case modeling, quality assurance planning
 Experience developing & providing input on proposals and statements of work (SOW)
 Strong experience in working with customers experience and interfaces
 SharePoint Farm infrastructure design and sizing
 Ability to work with third party consultants and vendors
 Ability to work in a team based environment required
 Excellent verbal and written communication skills
 In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in systems analysis, design and programming
Major Responsibilities:
 Design and development of SharePoint solutions to formulate business requirements, design, develop, test, and implement SharePoint Team sites
 Develop a detailed schedule with milestones to track progress and ensure development is progressing within the agreed upon time frame.
 Conduct development of Business Intelligence dashboards and reports to accurately reflect metrics as requested by customer.
 Work closely with the Server Administration and Database Administration teams as needed.
 Fully document all products produced in accordance with guidelines provided by the contractor application development supervisor.
 Diagnose and resolve configuration issues, as well as connectivity and authentication issues.
 Architecture and design of SharePoint implementations applying best practices and technology expertise
 Implementation and customization of SharePoint-based solutions that meet the functional requirements/specifications of the business
 Apply expert understanding of SharePoint box functionality to support the delivery of assigned tasks
 Deliver customizations based on Web Parts, Workflows, XSLT and HTML
 Apply .NET development expertise to extend/augment SharePoint platforms
 Design and development SharePoint Business Intelligence and dashboard solutions
 Manage a SharePoint Server farm
 Evaluation, installation and maintenance of any plug-in, feature, web part, template or solution, including 3rd party software or applications.
 Interact with the user community to assess and respond to needs and research of program issues.
 Closely collaborate with business stakeholders for solutions requiring SharePoint as a core technology component and adoption of SharePoint enabled information management, collaboration and document sharing solutions.
 Implementation of SharePoint workflows.
 Responsible for timely prioritization and assignment of internal and external customer requests to the appropriate personnel, and completion of those requests within the established guidelines.
